How it Works

This page provides information on the three key steps you need to think about and some details to help you through the process.  As always, we are available to walk you through these steps and help guide you in this process.

1. Decide What You Would like to Transfer

Use this opportunity to review your entire collection.  Don't forget that your collection is not just older film moves and photos.  Review this list as a helpful guide:
The Q&A lists all of the  formats we support.  Don't see a format?  Just ask!  Chances are, we can support it!

Traditional Non-Digital Movies and Photos
- Movies on traditional reels (8mm, Super 8)
- Photos (from 35mm or other developed film)
- Slides (such as a 35mm)
- Negatives (from 35mm cameras)

Videos from Tape Cassettes
- VHS / Betamax tapes
- Camcorder tapes (most types)

More Recent Digital Videos and Photos
- Videos from digital camcorders, cameras, mobile devices and cell phones
- Photos from digital cameras, camcorders, mobile devices and cell phones

2. Decide how you Would like to View Your Videos and/or Photos

How would you like us to assemble your collection?  The most common options are listed below.  If you do not see an option you are thinking about, just ask us!

Movies/Videos

Photos and Photo Slide Shows
- Individual photos
- Photo slide show - let us create the show or you can provide input with more details transitions, titles and music


3. Decide what Format you Would like to Receive

You can choose a standard DVD format as well as a variety of other media formats.  Talk to us about options for receiving your collection in more than one format for convenient access and viewing.

Available Disc Formats
Your digitized videos or photos can be displayed using a number of easy to access and popular disc formats, including:
- DVD (Single and Dual Layer)
- Blu-Ray (Single and Dual Layer)
- VCD (Video CD)
- SVCD (Super Video CD)

Available Formats for Portable Devices
Once you have your video collection, we can also provide the video or photo slideshows in additional formats for portability.  Some of the most popular are listed below and many more are available.
- Apple iPod Touch and iPhone
- Apple iPod Nano and iPod Video/Classis
- Apple iPad
- Android based phones and tablets
- Sony Playstation Portable (PSP)
- Blackberry or many other smartphones
- Standard formats for viewing on a Windows PC/Notebook or Apple Macintosh

Formatted for viewing using a Media Center device
Output can be provided to support the following devices:
